    Blogspot wasn’t bad really, but I just found WordPress, when you host it yourself, gives you more knobs to control different features. It also seems to have much more extensions and plugins than Blogspot.
    I experimented with it at first on their own site (wordpress.com) then downloaded it and hosted it myself. I found it a really good publishing platform.

    Am just curious, why did you move out from the blogspot?
